Christmas is a time for joy and celebration, but for children with cancer, like Lola, it can be a difficult time. They may be spending the festive period in hospital, away from their loved ones. A warmable teddy bear can provide comfort and companionship during this difficult time, and it can also be a reminder that they are loved and supported.
You can help to make a difference in the lives of children with cancer this Christmas by donating to our Cuddles for Christmas campaign. Every donation you make will fund a teddy to be given to a child in hospital receiving treatment for cancer, a child like Lola here, Tiernan, Max or Imogen. Read their stories here.
If you'd normally donate to charity at Christmas, are seeking to give to charity at Christmas for the first time, might ordinarily buy charity Christmas cards, or are simply looking to make a Christmas donation to a charity in the form of an alternative, unique, unusual, thoughtful, and non-material gift to be given in the name of a loved one, please consider donating a cuddly ted this year instead.
Warmable, Cuddly, Scented
Our Cuddles for Christmas campaign aims to raise £14,400 to deliver 1,200 warmable teddies to children being treated for cancer in hospital this Christmas. If we're lucky enough to raise more money than we need, any extra will be used to help fill cancer kits to send out to cancer patients in 2024. We receive no government support and our services are needed more than ever. Thank you.
